Today was the last day of school for William. Jonathan and I came up to help with the class celebrations. They had boxcar derby races, craft time, pizza and ice cream. We also gave Ms. Yu her teacher gift, which she absolutely loved!! :o)
I am a bit melancholy about the last day.......happy that we don't have to get up at the crack of dawn five days a week, but sad that kindergarten is over. It was a fun year for William and an exciting learning experience for Chris and I. I know now what to expect for Jonathan and am filled with nervous excitement about the first grade and William. Say hello to homework! At least we don't have to worry about that until late August. Until then, let the summer begin!! :o)
