Yes, I truly do! It is my most favorite season of all because of the rebirth of life! The grass grows green, the flowers bloom in beautiful color, trees sprout leaves and the temperature is gorgeous! However, with all of the beauty in color, there comes lots of showers. In Texas, like they say about everything in Texas, they are a lot bigger and bolder. It doesn't rain in little drops or softly all day.....it rains in buckets and the drops are practically the size of the state!! Okay, so that is a Texas-sized embellishment! *chuckle, chuckle* The rain usually only lasts a short time. The winds pack a punch and the rain comes down so fast and so hard that it floods almost immediately because the ground can't soak it up fast enough. It is amazing and sometimes a little on the scary side.
This morning, we were just hanging out at home playing with Daddy's General Grievous Starfighter when the boys noticed the sky go from blue to a very dark gray. Right at that moment, we all ran outside at my beckoning and grabbed all of the new cushions to keep them from getting soaked. In a matter of minutes and the last cushion being dragged to safety, it began to come down fast & furious. WOW! Isn't Mother Nature amazing?! Technically, its still spring and she is making sure that we don't forget that.....
