Baseball kind of day!

Today was a hot one here! 94 degrees for the high with lots of humidity. Great for the hair.....well, not really. That didn't matter anyway. Jonathan had his second t-ball game this morning at 9am. He got his jersey today and is #1. If you ask him, he says he is #1, he gets to go first and he is the best player ever, well, because he is #1! Cuteness!

William had his first baseball game today at 1pm right in the midst of the yucky heat and brilliant sunshine! He did great. He had two at-bats and was able to hit it without a tee the first time, but used one for the second. He played catcher in the first inning, 3rd base in the 2nd and right field in the 3rd. His best play came as the right fielder when he was able to catch a line drive and throw it to first. He was great! Another proud moment! :o) Go Rivercats!

After the game, we went for a quick dip in the pool and get re acclimated to swimming. William picked right up where he left off. Jonathan found that he could "swim" with a life jacket and now thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread! A future olympic swimmer, he is. Watch out cousins......he'll give you a run for your money in laps. ;o)
