It's one of the best times of the year in Texas, minus the fall foliage. While others in the country are dealing with much cooler temperatures, we are still in the high 70's with lots of sunshine. Ahhhh....no more sweltering heat!
It's also the time of year for pumpkin patches! Before too long, it won't be cool anymore so we have to get in the good times while we can. :o) The kids and I went to Owens Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Richardson for a little pumpkin patch fun. They got to feed the goats, pet the horses, climb on the haystacks and pick out their favorite pumpkin from the patch. They had tons of fun! Although....it was a little warm.
