On Monday, Aug. 24th, both William and Jonathan started school. Hard to believe that I now have two elementary school children! Where did the time go??
William started 2nd grade this year at a new school. They are both at Boggess Elementary. William's new teacher is Ms. Gaertner and so far he says he is loving it. He really lucked out and has 4 other children in his class that he knows from his old school, Hunt, and the neighborhood. 2nd grade seems to be all business so far!
Jonathan started kindergarten! He was lucky as well seeing that he has 4 friends in his class as well from both preschool and the neighborhood. Awesome! His teacher this year is Ms. Wolfe. She's very sweet, bubbly and energetic. Just what is needed to be a kindergarten teacher!! Especially Jonathan's teacher! So far he says he loves it and is having a great time. At least he didn't come to me like William did after the first week and say, "I'm done with school. It's been a week."
