William's Adventures & Excitement

The past few weeks have been crazy and some of it has been some true adventures, excitement and lessons for William.

William was elected as the "Neatest Worker" and "Most Fashionable Boy" by his classmates. He's been recognized for Marathon Kids by completing 76 miles over a few months, completing the "final lap" and receiving his medal. He went to Emergency Room in an ambulance straight from school and missed a week of physical activities. This happened while doing relay races during recess and being tripped up. He landed head first into the concrete. Unfortunately, he began to get a bit drowsy, threw up and then we were off. Luckily, he's okay and all is well, but it was all a bit surreal and nerve wracking! You'd not believe it, but I did keep my cool & did not freak out! Surprising how you handle things some times.

Once the restrictions were lifted, we were back to baseball, recess and P.E.! Yeah! Just in time for the end of the school year parties and the last day of school. We are sad to see our time with Ms. Garner go, but know it is time. She has been a wonderful teacher for William. He absolutely flourished under her guidance and I just hope that his next teacher is a good one too. Although, I don't know if he will ever have a teacher as brilliant, patient, caring and kind as her. One can only hope! :)

Congratulations to William as he graduates to 2nd grade! Summer, here we come!!
