December Fun

Lots of things have happened this month but very little photos to show for it. Oh well, the memories will last in my mind....at least I think so. ;)

Nan & Grandad finished up their trip here to visit us celebrating Thanksgiving & William's birthday. They helped us to put up our Christmas tree and decorations....even though it was still November! ;) There was lots and lots of Lego organization, painting and walks at the park. The time spent with them was priceless and we were all sad to see them go.

The weeks following were filled with Christmas shopping, parties and more holiday fun. We've had so much merry festivies and cheer, I think we will be good for a while!

Once the Christmas holiday break was upon us, we got to spend some time with Mimi & Papa while they were here visiting from Seattle. We had now two fabulous snow days and a wonderful Christmas. Unfortunately, with all of the excitement of opening presents, we forgot to take some photos....oops!! On the bright side, I've saved you from tons of pictures of Lego. It was a Lego kind of Christmas. We spent the Christmas evening with Michael & his family, Uncle Joe, Don, Mimi & Papa. Christmas dinner was a little different this time around....Venison Chili. Although different, it was very tasty.

It's hard to believe that 2009 is nearing its close...as well as, the first decade of the 21st century. So many, many things to be thankful for this past decade!! We will be ringing in the new year with the boys and some dear friends. I look forward to what 2010 has in store for us!

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wish you all a very Happy New Year!!
