Holidays, holidays, holidays!

Where in the world have the Rooke's been?

Well, right here in the picture above!!!

We had a lovely time while away in Gulf Shores this past week. There was lots to do and the weather was very kind to us. We spent our days playing on the beach in the lovely sugar white sand building sand castles or "helter skelters" (ask Chris about that one because it means something totally different here), playing in the cool surf swimming about, flying kites or just plain relaxing. It was just what the doctor ordered for everyone. We stayed at nice condo that was directly on the beach. In the evenings we just kicked back and played some games, watched a movie or just watched the waves roll in.
We were lucky enough to be greeted by dolphins catching their breakfast or playing about in the water every morning. A nice treat! The view from the condo was awesome and quite relaxing. It's nice to be home, but we miss the beach!!

Besides the fun at the beach, we visited the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, FL. Also, we had a super good time at Pirate Island playing crazy golf (or for the yanks, miniature golf). Watch for more pictures soon!
